your family.

Use Apple Family Sharing to share your Freezer Inventory Pro purchase with your partner or family members, no need for everyone to buy it separately.

01, How it works

One purchase, shared with your family

Apple Family Sharing lets the person who bought Freezer Inventory Pro share that purchase with up to five other family members. Once everyone has Pro unlocked, you can use Cloud Sync to share your inventory across all devices.

Important: The person who made the original purchase must be the Family Organizer in Apple Family Sharing. Only the organizer can share purchases with other family members.
02, Set up Apple Family Sharing

Add your family member to Apple Family

Before you can share the Pro purchase, you need to configure Apple Family Sharing and add the people you want to share with. Apple provides a full guide on how to do this.

Open the Apple Family Sharing guide
Visit the official Apple support page and follow the instructions to set up Family Sharing and invite your family member. Open Apple's guide →

Make sure you are the Family Organizer
If you bought the Pro version, you must be the Family Organizer. If someone else is currently the organizer, you will need to transfer that role before purchase sharing will work.

Invite your family member
Send an invitation to your partner or family member. Once they accept, they become part of your Apple Family and will be able to share your purchases.
03, Unlock Pro on the second device

Restore the purchase on the other device

Once Family Sharing is configured, the other family member can unlock Pro on their device without paying again.

Open Freezer Inventory on the second device
The other family member opens the app on their iPhone or iPad and navigates to the upgrade or payment screen.

Tap "Restore Purchases"
On the payment screen, tap the Restore Purchases button. Apple will recognise that the purchase is shared through Family Sharing and unlock Pro automatically, no payment required.

The Restore Purchases button is the key step for the second person. They should not attempt to buy Pro again, tapping Restore is all that is needed.
04, Next step

Sync your inventory across both devices

Now that both devices have Pro unlocked, you can use Cloud Sync to share your inventory. Every change either person makes will appear on the other device in seconds.
